I have always loved a bet.  I will bet on anything – whether a drop of water will reach the bottom of a window pane before another. I don’t know, it’s just the buzz I guess – but at all times I do want to make an overall profit and keep a note of all my serious betting activity (so not betting on beetle racing or anything!) I started when at school on fixed odds betting – that was in the days before the internet and all betting was in a bookmaker’s shop. Now with the internet I don’t have to sit through the stinking cigarettes or walk around the sorry faces. As my betting became more sophisticated I have started spread betting, which means you bet on an outcome, but how much you gain or lose can be decided by how far the outcome.
