My children’s favorite place to go is their grandmother’s house. They prefer it over the park, the beach, and the swimming pool. She has a huge yard with a trampoline, a swing set, and some outdoor furniture. Whenever we visit, they spend hours out there. They run, climb, and play games. In the winter, they build snowmen, and in the summer they spray each other with the hose. When it gets dark, she gathers them all around her on the patio chairs and tells them stories about her life. I love watching it. The only bad part is that they never want to leave!
