A couple of years ago, my wife and I, along with her sister and her family, invested in buying a condo out on the lake.  The original idea was for us to be able to pay it off quickly and co-own it for our combined families enjoyment throughout the year.  However, soon after we bought it, I came up with the idea to rent it out during the months that neither of our families were using it in order to help generate some extra income for all of us.  So far, we’ve all enjoyed the lake as well as the profits we make from it.
