The Smokies has always been my most favored place to go and photograph.  The photo portfolio that I have has more images from the Great Smoky Mountain nature area than any other.  For every time that I go there, and I have been there numerous times, I still am amazed at its diversity and unrivaled beauty.   Oh, there are other destinations that I would lie to venture someday.  Yosemite National Park is a destination that I would like to travel to sometime.  The great photographer Ansel Adams spent a great deal of his years there exploring and creating some splendid photos.  Until I am able to make that trip I will just keep on exploring the Smoky Mountains and searching for that next scene to photograph.

I don’t want to be a grinch this Christmas.  I want to feel like a Santa Claus especially to my one and only daughter Manel.  I want to give Manel the best Christmas present ever.  Manel is into music being a member of the choral choir at our church.  She also sings sometimes during family parties and school events.  And so, I will give Manel a Celtic harp as my Christmas gift for her.  Manel is not naïve to musical instruments because she can play and guitar.  I hope to support her interest in music because I know that it is what Manel really loves to do.

I wrote down on a piece of paper what the time was for the Randy Charach film festival so that I would be able to give my boyfriend all of the information when he called. I will have to tell him that I already got the tickets so he will have to go. I will enjoy it whether he does or not. I will be so embarrassed if he falls asleep in the theatre and starts to snore. I think it will be to hard to do that because these movies are supposed to be excellent. I will not sleep.
