I photographed my first wedding before I ever became a professional. It was expensive, stressful, and not something that I would recommend to an amateur. However, I learned a lot from it. It was a favor for a friend. She had seen some of my shots and was impressed by them. Since she didn’t have the money to hire anyone else, she begged me to do it for her. I finally agreed, and then spent the next six months frantically looking for wedding photography tips. When all was said and done, everything turned out all right, although not as well as I had hoped. However, whenever I hear of anyone facing the same situation I always tell them the same thing– hire a professional!
