With the state of our economy, it is hard to afford the little extras.  It is hard to find affordable family activities.  We attended local library summer reading shows and the kids had a blast.  It is so nice to take them to something that they enjoy so much.  Another activity that we like to do is to go on nature walks.  I feel that they are learning to respect and appreciate nature.  I find that we really bond during these outings.  I feel that it is so important to spend quality time with your children.  It is something that they will never forget.
